U.S. Workers Really Lazy?

One object of anger and even elite citizens of the United States behind a pile of debt and economic problems are slow-growing U.S. worker productivity. Even the word "lazy workers" also stuck out as the U.S. economic crisis in 2008. This crisis helped to bankrupt U.S. companies, including General Motors.
This economic crisis forced the U.S. government to spend 800 billion dollars to help U.S. corporations, the difficulties in funding. On 24 November 2008 for instance, Ron Paul, launching the words "Oh No, Not Another Bailout!" RonPaul.com on its website. This paper sparked comments about American workers, who are considered not diligent not to say lazy.

Ron Paul is a member of Parliament (House of Representatiives) of the Republican Party, and was a U.S. presidential candidate from the Republican in the U.S. presidential election in 2008.
2008 crisis, such as reviving the polemic that has also appeared in 1992, when Toyota Motor Corp., the U.S. invaded the automotive market. In the Los Angeles Times, January 21, 1992 edition, Chairman of the Lower House of Japan, Yoshio Sakurauchi once said that, "The American workers are lazy and unproductive and that's one reason why their products can not match the standards of Japanese products ..." This is the answer Sakurauchi, already late, over U.S. criticism about the invasion of Toyota to the U.S. market.
U.S. economic crisis, which is now getting stuck with a pile of debt on top of 14.23 billion U.S. dollars, also cornered former Governor of the Federal Reserve, Alan Greenspan.

Former Central Bank governor is considered to play a role behind the crisis by running the monetary policy which was considered wrong to peg interest rates low for so many years, which makes the U.S. flooded the money, and some funds were translated into actions in the speculative stock market and the market capital.
Alan Greenspan (served from 1987 to 2006 period) behind the accused the other aspects behind the U.S. economic crisis. Business Insider website issued a paper titled "Alan Greenspan blames The Bad U.S. Economy On The Lazy Young Work Force And The U.S. Copying China".
Greenspan even said, American workers now, which has replaced the baby boomer generation, is not a better worker than they replace. He even suggested that immigrants allowed into the U.S. to improve the performance of the U.S. economy.
There are many different combinations as the cause of economic crisis, and one of them is the accusation that at least a matter of U.S. workers are less productive, if for example, compared with China (see Kompas, issue of Friday, August 5, 2011).
CNBC.com site also presents data about hours worked per week in various countries. China has stated hours of work for 44 hours during the week and have 21 days holiday a year. Data is used data from the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Taxation (Income Tax), China Center for Labor and Environment (Retirement Age, the Standard Work Week).
On the other side of the workers in the U.S. have worked only 33.8 hours a week and have a longer holiday, ie 25 days. This data is taken from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (Working Hours), USA.
