Planning to Diversify your investment?
Some of you might already know where to invest or already have a knowledge about Stock Market and Mutual Funds. Now what to do? For newbies like me, I go to the site that shows Legal Companies where you can invest your money. It shows there the Top Philippine Companies who are experts when it comes to Mutual Funds. It also shows in the site their performance and their year of returns, each year. In my own way I pick the Top 5 Performers throughout the year. Then choose two Companies that I would like to Invest. Of course in my earlier post I choose Sun Life Financial, Why? Because of there background, there years in service and there performance. Now, this is my business its up to me decide where to put my money, where I want and its up to you to choose when or where you want to put your money, as long as, you study and know their profile, and of course the risks involve.
Yesterday we go to the PhilEquity in Ortigas for my second Investment. Now I choose them because of their background too. First is their investment management company established in 1993, Second is they've been awarded by the Investment Company Association of the Philippines (ICAP) as the best performing equity fund in the 5-year and 10-year categories for the third straight year. For me, It means they've been performed well even after so many Financial Crisis (but still risky :P). I have mixed emotions back then, I guess that would be "excitement" that I can invest again and "nervous", because it is my second time investing and I don't know what will happen. But I am willing to take the risk, that whatever it takes there will be no regrets. besides rich people did not become rich without money loss.
The representative is nice she give us a clear instructions and the risk involves, their portfolio and how to send additional investment like, to their office, to Ebiz and even Email (Now if you are investing, make sure the agents tell you all of this and more, and keep asking question you don't know). The good thing though is that they do not accept cash in their office. It can be by deposit slip or remittance slip. I guess to avoid scams like what happen to other companies, because of some agents who get the money for their own benefit.
After the transaction the representative send me the Email about the number of shares that I bought and it is password protected. So that's it! easy as that, all I have to do, is to think of it as a bill, that I have to put some amount every month to compound. This w
